Personally I can never tell with items until they're actually out, but athenes again does sound fun. Also mandate not being mythic sounds like for nami mandate + athenes or whatever mythic could be cool too.

Also sofw/censer/chemtech will be less ap but maybe better other ways...idk sofw is the only good one currently but we'll see after the changes. I'm still not sure how good ap is for milio because his ability ratios are terrible but his passive is 20% ap and idk how often you apply it.

^ agree with not knowing until their out, reading an item gives me no idea lol I think when I saw heartsteel teased I thought there was no way it could be balanced, but it turned it out fine I don't think they touched it (on sr).

People will flock to whatever they think is too strong/ over buffed based on first impressions like the new adc mythics for vayne/kog but they might turn out to be fine. The complaints over the new tank mythics dwindled with time (jak'sho was busted for a moment though). What will be more interesting is what will be busted without people recognizing it for a patch or two and then discovering whatever synergies it might have with champions that aren't intuitive. kind of like ravenous being best-in-slot on nearly EVERY ad champ until 3+ nerfs, it got 4 lol.
